Not too long ago, Master P proposed a $2.5 million dollar offer for son Hercy Miller if the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) replaces the payment rules for college athletes, Black Enterprise reported.
Now, since the rules have changed, college athletes can now receive a nice coin off their names, image and likeness, the artice reported.
Miller, an incoming Tennessee State University freshman, will soon capitalize off the newly changed NCAA rules as a brand ambassador for Web Apps America Knox News reported.
This past April, Master P told the world, and everyone else, that a deal was coming down the line once a ruling took place allowing athletes to profit from their own image.
“I told Hercy he’ll probably be the highest-paid college player in college basketball history if he do this deal,” says Master P during an interview with TMZ Sports, the article reported. “Guys that are going to the G League, they’re not even getting that type of money.”
“I made $400 a month and that’s what the players are making right now. This kid get a chance to make $2.5 million right out the gate and be at an HBCU.”
Master P, of No Limit, recently posted on Instagram about his son.
