Hiram Jackson took over the helm of the Michigan Chronicle after Sam Logan died in 2011. Jackson says the purpose is to tell the stories of the African American community and stories of the greater Detroit area that make an impact with that community. The popular Pancakes & Politics forum has been a highlight of their work for the last 10 years
