NNPA has consistently been the voice of the Black community and an incubator for news that continues to make history and impact our society at large. GM’s Executive Director of Workforce Strategy, Tammy Golden and Director of Diversity Marketing, Tarshena Armstrong, joined a panel discussion, where they shared steps GM is taking to become the most inclusive company in the world. At GM we are taking intentional and deliberate action to increase our diverse owned media spend. We’re hiring more diverse talent than ever before, through programs like our Discover The Unexpected Internship program, targeting HBCU students and we’re diversifying the way we’re telling our stories. We couldn’t do any of this without the support of our Black press.
