The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (BGCSM) and Quarterback University (QBU) have joined forces to uplift and empower young athletes through specialized sports training. This partnership, an exclusive venture, is set to transform the athletic landscape for 1,600 youth athletes involved in BGCSM’s 3C Sports Program, ushering in an era of enhanced skills and personal growth in key football positions.

The Founder of QBU, Donovan Dooley, expressed immense enthusiasm for this initiative. He remarked, “We are thrilled to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan in this endeavor. Our mission at QBU has always been to equip young athletes with the tools they need to succeed—both on and off the field. By providing specialized position training to these youth athletes, we hope to inspire them to dream big and achieve greatness in their chosen positions.”

QBU’s renowned expertise in position-specific training promises to provide invaluable instruction to these young athletes. This training is designed not just to polish their on-field skills but also to foster personal development, enhancing their potential in all facets of life. The partnership encapsulates a shared vision of BGCSM and QBU to nurture youth passion for sports while promoting holistic development.

Chris Kyles, the Vice President of Youth Sports at BGCSM, highlighted the transformative potential of the collaboration, stating, “We are proud to join forces with Quarterback University to offer this exclusive opportunity to our young athletes. This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission of providing comprehensive programming that supports the holistic development of the youth we serve. Through this position training, we aim to instill discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in our young athletes, preparing them for success in sports and beyond.”

The program, set to commence in December, will feature structured sessions meticulously designed to cater to each specific position. This approach ensures personalized coaching and skill development, enriched with insights from seasoned trainers at QBU. The focus on key positions is strategically aimed at boosting the athletes’ competitiveness and proficiency.

This unique training opportunity is available exclusively to youth athletes within BGCSM’s 3C Sports Program, emphasizing the organizations’ commitment to providing their members with unparalleled resources and mentorship. This collaboration not only marks a significant milestone for BGCSM and QBU but also symbolizes their dedication to empowering young lives through sports and beyond.
