basketballDetroit’s celebrities care about Detroit’s youth that are in need of your support!
Students across the city will be going back to school very soon and for those families that cannot afford basic uniforms, let alone basic school supplies, We propose a way to help support our youth. Detroit Celebrity Basketball Classic, has the potential to pull together Detroit elite basketball players, fans, supports and local celebrities. This event is designed to use the celebrity likeness to draw event goers. This display of unity is especially important in this time because of the senseless energy wasted on hate.
The Detroit Celebrity Basketball Classic will showcase the talent of many Detroit athletes who work hard to condition and build skill. The influence of the participants will help produce the ticket sales we need to make money for school supplies for our kids.
The tournament officials will use retail locations of Villa to distribute school supplies throughout the month of August.
