Detroit is ready to sparkle as the 2025 Ford Fireworks, one of America’s most iconic summer celebrations, returns to the city on Monday, June 23 at 10 p.m. This year’s theme, “Detroit Summer Vibes! Bring ‘Em On!” promises a spectacular 24-minute fireworks display over the Detroit River that will dazzle spectators from miles around.
Now in its 67th year, the Ford Fireworks, produced by The Parade Company in partnership with Ford Motor Company, is set to deliver over 10,000 pyrotechnic effects, synchronized to a vibrant musical score handpicked by The Parade Company and executed by the renowned Zambelli Fireworks.
Tony Michaels, president & CEO of The Parade Company, shared his enthusiasm: “The Ford Fireworks is one of the most celebrated shows in America, and we are elated to bring Detroit and beyond this spectacular summer fireworks display.”
Ford’s continued partnership reflects its deep roots in the community. Mary Culler, president of Ford Philanthropy, said, “We look forward to bringing everyone together to celebrate and honor America, our great city and the people and communities that make Detroit so special.”
The event is free and open to the public, with prime viewing spots at Hart Plaza, Belle Isle, and along the riverfront. For those looking for an elevated experience, limited tickets are available for The Parade Company’s Rooftop Fundraiser, presented by Ford. The exclusive event features live music from Your Generation in Concert, gourmet catering by Andiamo, interactive games, and more. Tickets are $350 for adults and $125 for children 6 and under, with proceeds benefiting the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation.
Adding to the excitement, the Ford Fireworks is in the running for USA Today’s “Best Place to See Fireworks.” Fans can vote daily at theparade.org until May 12 at 11:59 a.m. EST.
