The Michigan Chronicle and Real Times Media, LLC recently partnered with Cornerstone Schools to host ‘Faith in the Classroom: is it the solution?’
Panelists included Dr. Deborah Smith Pollard, on-air personality with Mix 92.3, who served as moderator; Ernestine Sanders, CEO/President of Cornerstone Schools; Bishop Edgar Vann II, pastor of Second Ebenezer Church; Sharlonda Buckman, CEO of Detroit Parent Network; and Rev. Charles Williams, National Action Network. They discussed whether or not implementing faith in the classroom is a solution to getting Detroit schools and their students back on track.
