The Detroit Department of Public Works has announced the following street closings:
- Westbound lanes on Michigan Ave from Griswold to Shelby will be closed completely from Nov. 10 through Sep. 2016 for building renovation. However, one lane in each direction for both eastbound and westbound traffic will be open at all times, using the eastbound lanes.
- Cadillac Square from Woodward to Bates will have a partial closure from Nov. 20 – Dec. 20, 2015 during the weekends for carriage rides.
- State St (south side) from Griswold to Shelby will have a partial lane closure of eastbound lane and sidewalk from Nov. 13, 2015 through May 1, 2016 for building renovation.
- Shelby from State St and alley south of State will have a partial closure of the northbound lane from Nov. 13, 2015 through May 1, 2016 for building renovation.
- North side of Bagley from 2nd to 3rd will have a partial closure for westbound traffic, westbound curb lane will be closed for utility work from Dec. 4 through Dec. 11, 2015. Traffic will have one lane open for westbound direction.
- South side of Bagley from 2nd to 3rd will have a partial closure for eastbound traffic, curb lane and sidewalk will be closed for curb repair from Dec. 4 through Dec. 18, 2015.
- South side of Howard from 2nd to 3rd will have the parking lane closed due to fiber optic cable installation work from Dec. 7 through Dec. 24, 2015.
- South side of E Grand River from Farmer to Madison will have a partial curb lane and sidewalk closure from Dec. 4 through Dec. 24, 2015 due to fiber optic cable installation work.
- Third from Fort to Lafayette will have the southeast lane and sidewalk closed from Dec. 8 through Dec. 24, 2015 due to roof work for the building.
- Cass Avenue from Adams to Grand River will have a parking lane closed from Dec. 10 through Dec. 14, 2015 for utility work.
- West Lafayette west of Third will have partial west and east bound lane closures from Dec. 14 through Dec. 21, 2015, for utility work.
- East Lafayette from St Antoine to Chrysler Service Dr will have partial closure of northeast lane from Dec. 17 through Dec. 18, 2015, for lighting work.
- Beaubien from E Lafayette to Fort St will have closure of southbound parking lane and sidewalk from Dec. 14 through Dec. 16, 2015, for lighting work.
- East Jefferson from Beaufeit to Bellevue will be partially closed from Nov. 06, 2015 through May 1st, 2016 for reconstruction of overpass/bridge. One (1) westbound lane and two (2) eastbound lanes will be open at all times.
- Forest Ave from Second to Cass will have full closure of sidewalk and parking lane from Nov. 18 through Dec. 11, 2015 for building façade renovation.
- Military from Hussar to W. Jefferson will have a northbound rolling partial lane closure from Nov. 30 through Dec. 22, 2015 for gas pipeline work.
- Third from Amsterdam to Baltimore will have partial closure from Dec. 12 through Dec. 13, 2015 for a viaduct project.
- Southbound Cass from Amsterdam to Baltimore will be completely closed from Dec. 11 through Dec. 12, 2015, for a viaduct project.
- Northbound Cass from Amsterdam to Baltimore will be completely closed from Dec. 12 through Dec. 13, 2015, for a viaduct project.
- Oakwood from Ormond to Pleasant will be partially closed from Dec. 11 through Dec. 17, 2015 for road reconstruction and relocation.
- Dix Road from Pleasant to Sanders will be partially closed from Dec. 11 through Dec. 17, 2015 for road reconstruction and relocation.
- Sanders from Oakwood to Dix will be closed completely from Dec. 11 through Dec. 17, 2015 for road reconstruction.
