Campbell faces two counts of assault: 1. Attempt to do great bodily harm. 2. Aggravated assault.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy will hold a press conference today at 2p.m. to announce if charges will be brought against Cass Technical High School Football Player, Jayru Campbell for body slamming a security guard on school grounds on January 22nd.

According to online court documents obtained by FOX 2, prosecutors are expected to charge Campbell with assault with attempt to do great bodily harm less than murder and aggravated assault.
Campbell is a four star recruit with a verbal commitment in Michigan State’s 2015 recruiting class.
