Albert succeeds Kevin Klobucar, who was promoted in May to executive vice president, health care value, at Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The insurer also named Kevin Stutler to succeed Albert as president and CEO of LifeSecure. He will keep his current role as vice president, ancillary products, for Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Blue Cross is Michigan’s dominant health insurer, providing benefits to about half the state’s population.
Blue Care Network is the state’s largest health maintenance organization.
“Tiffany is a well-respected leader within our organization and has helped launch innovative solutions at LifeSecure,” Daniel Loepp, president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield, said in a statement.
Before heading up LifeSecure, Albert was director of external sales distribution and strategic sales at Blue Cross Blue Shield. The University of Michigan graduate has also held executive positions at other insurers, BCBSM said in a press release.
