Biden Set To Make Stops in Southfield and Detroit

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will make a campaign stop in Michigan Friday, where he plans to speak with voters in Southfield and Detroit.

Biden will hold an event in Southfield on “protecting and expanding access to affordable health care,” a topic that has been a main focus of the Biden campaign throughout the election process. The event will start around 2:30 p.m.

Later in the day around 6:20 p.m., the former vice president will talk to voters about the importance of casting their votes early as part of a voter mobilization event in Detroit

This will be Biden’s third visit to Michigan since September. His most recent was Oct. 2 when he talked about economic initiatives he planned to enforce as well as the impact COVID-19 was having on the city of Grand Rapids. Biden was also in Warren, Michigan on Sept. 9.

President Trump also visited Michigan this week. The Republican presidential nominee made a campaign stop in Muskegon where he talked about “supporting law enforcement.”
