It’s destined to be one of the hottest events and places to be in the Detroit area this weekend, the Eight Annual Black Tie & Heels Affair.
“I think the millennials and Gen Z’s need an opportunity to dress up,” said Andre Styles, the event organizer and owner of Pizza Cat Max. “They can come out and enjoy themselves amongst people who are like minded, who just want to celebrate life in high luxury and elegance and feels as we can only go to the club and always do the same thing.”
The event correlates with Juneteenth celebrations and event goers can expect to engage in some premium delegacies, luxurious drinks, and network amongst some who’s who’s of Detroit’s best.
“Just to do something for the eighth time, it’s a blessing,” said Lé Don, the event founder. “Consistency is key!”
“We did a complete buildout. People are going to be amazed to see almost 10,000 square feet transformed into a lounge and something luxurious,” Styles said.
The 8th Annual Black Tie & Heels Affair will be held Saturday, June 17th at 7pm at Elevation Club, located at 211 West Fort St. in downtown Detroit.
The event will be hosted by Deelishis with sounds by DJ K Dirty and DJ Carter. There will also be a red carpet setting hosted by Jamar Marreign.
