AstroTwins Return Home for Astrology Workshop at Detroit Bookfest Live Talks

Twin astrologers known as the AstroTwins will co‑lead a special workshop at this year’s Detroit Bookfest, part of a day‑long series of live talks hosted by the Detroit Public Library on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Ophira and Tali Edut, Detroit natives who write as the AstroTwins, are scheduled to present on astrology, offering insights into how celestial alignments intersect with personal growth and creativity. The pair, widely recognized for their bestselling books and popular astrology website Astrostyle.com, will be featured among headline presenters including manga artist Mark Crilley, crime‑turned‑author Dr. Ricky Ross, and award‑winning writer Curtis Chin.

“The AstroTwins — Ophira and Tali are Detroit natives and professional astrologers with a large following and multiple books,” according to the Detroit Festival of Books, also known as Detroit Bookfest.

The AstroTwins’ session, one among many at the day’s events, taps into broader trends where literary festivals integrate workshops and lectures across genres, here, melding astrology with storytelling. Attendees may expect interactive readings alongside panel discussions moderated by local civic life reporter Briana Rice.

Detroit Public Library, built in 1921 and spanning 420,000 square feet over three floors, will host the festival talks from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. PBS Books is also slated to film select sessions.
