The City.Life.Style recipe for a good time is as follows:
- Add in an approximate teaspoon or two of good friends. (Remember the measuring skills your mother taught you. We measure by faith, feeling, and taste.)
- Marinate your good friends in a cup or two of tasty drinks. Do this for however long feels best.
- Add a dollop of good music for the vibe. Add additional hits as needed.
- Sprinkle with a fly outfit.
- Cook at about 75° in lots of sunshine for as long as the day permits.
- Serve at the beginning of Happy Hour.
- Pairs well with warm weather, and good energy.
The next time you find yourself cooking up a good time, stop by your local store or ask the bartender for a taste of the new, black-owned liquor that is known for its superior, smooth taste, and quality. What’s this drink, you ask? FLōH Vodka. Described as hand-crafted and ultra-smooth, FLōH Vodka was founded in Cleveland, Ohio, by Jacques Evans in 2012, and is currently making its way through Detroit with the help of Michigan Brand Manager, Tamone Martin.
Currently distributed in eight different states, FLōH Vodka is proud to promote that every aspect of the FLōH, from the distillation process to the ingredients harvested, is sourced in the United States.
“I think people need to know about this, and not because it’s a black-owned brand, that’s only part of it. It’s really about the quality,” Martin said. “You show me a great product, and I’m buying it. So many times, people buy products based on the name and not the quality. FLōH Vodka is a quality product because of what it represents.”
The ultra-premium vodka includes two, sugar-free, all-natural flavors. The first is the gluten and allergen-free original flavor, which is 80 proof, and the second is the gluten-free Pink Grapefruit Dragon Fruit flavor, which is 70 proof. A great time in the bottle, Martin describes the original flavor as “clean, smooth and without the burn.” The Pink Grapefruit Dragon Fruit is the “perfect balance of sweet bitterness.” Mix either with Simply Lemonade, and, also, according to Martin, “your drink is a home run every time, and will create the perfect flow for your night.”

“My hope is that everyone at least tries it once,” Martin said. “Once you try it, I can guarantee you will be impressed with the taste and quality. It’s superlative, never comparative. It’s a good time in a bottle.”
