Salvation Army To Open New Millennial-Minded Store

The Salvation Army plans to open a new Detroit location geared toward people used to sharing fashion on the internet.

The new store, nicknamed “Sally’s on Fort Street,” will be located at 1627 W. Fort Street. According to the Detroit Free Press, the retail outlet will not only feature a “neater, cleaner thrift experience,” but also brand names such as Gucci, Steve Madden, and UGG. The store also has a selfie station that features a mural created by local artist Timothy Hacker.

The store will celebrate its grand opening on April 1 at 10 A.M. The store hours will be 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. Monday through Saturday. The store will accept gently used clothing, furniture, and other items from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M.
