Congrats to Dr. Stephanie L. Griffin and Brandon Clark on their recent engagement!
About the Bride:
Dr. Stephanie L. Griffin is a fine example of Black Excellence. Dr. Griffin attended the prestigious Cranbrook-Kingswood High School as a Skillman Scholar of Academic Excellence. Upon graduation in 2000, she attended Michigan State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Dr. Griffin continued her post secondary education earning both a Master’s of Teaching and a Master’s of Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Moreover, Dr. Griffin pursued and earned her Educational Leadership Doctorate from Central Michigan University in 2020. Dr. Griffin has a passion for education. She worked as an educator in Detroit for over a decade, before she became a school administrator for Detroit Public Schools Community District. Currently, Dr. Griffin is a school administrator in Oakland County. Outside of her professional achievements, Dr. Griffin takes the most pride in her children, William (freshman at Central Michigan University), and Somaya (4th grade). Dr. Griffin would affectionately describe her love story with Brandon as Godly ordained and perfectly paired. Dr.
About the Groom:
Brandon Clark is The Quintessential Renaissance Man. A native Detroiter, he is a proud Detroit Public Schools Alum who graduated from the prestigious Detroit School of the Fine and Performing Arts. After graduation, Brandon began his post secondary journey at The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Currently, he is a Senior Customer Support Analyst for the Youth Financial Literacy Program. Brandon is a man of many talents. His talent has afforded him the opportunity to sing professionally with the gospel recording group, Larry Callahan and Selected of God gospel choir. This is also the same recording group in which he met his bride, Stephanie. In addition to singing with Larry Callahan and Selected of God, Brandon also serves as a worship leader at his home church, True Gospel Tabernacle Church. Brandon describes his love story with Stephanie like this: “Love found me and I was waiting patiently for it. I did not force it and I welcomed every moment. Dr. Stephanie is the essence of love personified, and on March 25, 2022, we will be complete”.
The Wedding:
The wedding will take place on Friday, March 25, 2022 at True Gospel Tabernacle in Detroit, Michigan. The reception will take place at The Lafayette Grande in Pontiac, Michigan. The bride and groom are looking forward to sharing this “Day of Love” with their family and friends! #ClarkIsTheMark
