With over a year of working from home (for companies able to do so) some are returning to work for the first time today in the city of Detroit.
Several companies are slowly getting into the swing of things, in downtown Detroit, a lot of the office space owned by Rocket Companies will start having some employees return to the office several days a week starting June 7, WXYZ reported.
“It’s definitely mixed emotions. I miss the folks I got to interact with, I miss the camaraderie of working in an office space, I don’t miss the commute for sure,” Troy Feldpausch said in the article.
The Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration is working on putting out even clearer safety guidelines to help guide companies — some of which aren’t trying to return to work in person immediately.
Companies like Ford and General Motors will return to work in late June or July, with a built-in system of working remotely, according to the article.
