Lynita Taylor is the diversity and Inclusion Program Manager for the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business. She developed the PwC MPREP Scholars learning community, which aims to recruit and retain multicultural undergraduate students and prepare them for careers in various business concentrations, with a high focus on the accounting and financial services industries. Taylor gained experience in strategic program development and community engagement through her previous role as a staffing consultant at Plante Moran. There, she oversaw and expanded the company’s diversity and inclusion programs, which are dedicated to the development of diverse business career candidates and minority professionals.
Taylor is also a part-time faculty member in the Ilitch School, teaching BA 1000 – Student Success and Career Development. In her “free time” Taylor is enrolled in Wayne State University’s College of Education doctoral program and tutors for the Circle of Brotherhood Mentoring Program at Second Ebenezer Church on the eastside of Detroit.
