“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Tommie Lee feels that she was brutalized when she was arrested for alleged drunk driving. But the police vehemently deny this and have video to prove it.
Lee tried to put the Georgia State Patrol on full blast by posting a video of an officer yanking her from the backseat of a Jeep back in January, slamming her to the ground and handcuffing her behind her back. Lee says she was a passenger and was manhandled for no reason.
However, the police report tells a radically different story. When the state patrol pulled the Jeep over in the Atlanta area, they noticed lots of movement in the vehicle.
The officers noticed that the person in the drivers seat — Lee — traded places with the guy riding with her to make officers believe that he was the driver. The GSP stated first lied about the switch, but then came clean and admitted that he tried to fool police to make it seem like he was the one who was driving all along. Meanwhile Lee hopped in the back, according to tmz.com.
Officers gave Lee an order to get out of the car, but she refused each time. Finally, the officer pulled her out and slapped handcuffs on her.
The state patrolman’s report stated that Lee exhibited the classic case of a drunk driver: watery eyes, bloodshot and slurred speech. She was subsequently charged drunk driving, disorderly conduct and driving on an expired license.
Making matters worse is the fact that Lee urinated in the cruiser on the way to the station.
Lee told TMZ that she blames deputies for not taking her to a bathroom.
