Rep. Lawrence to host Women in Small Business Summit

Congresswoman Brenda L. Lawrence (MI-14) will host a Women in Small Business Summit to inform and promote women business owners and entrepreneurs in Michigan’s 14th District. The summit will include presentations from Tonjola Cole, Director of Women’s Entrepreneurial Initiative for the Michigan Women’s Foundation; Constance Payne-Logan, Deputy District Director for SBA-Detroit; and Ivy Simmons, Chief of Staff for the Michigan Black Chamber of Commerce. Women business owners and those looking to launch their careers are encouraged to attend.
