ATLANTA — R&B singer Keke Wyatt’s entertainment show commences before she even gets off the bus. She entertains while walking off the bus. She entertains while walking towards the red carpet. She and her husband are a walking sitcom of playful bantering that keeps the media laughing while trying to record her every move.
By the time Wyatt traipses to the mic to unfurl those lovely harmonies from the deepest crevices of her soul, her audience is already half full from her innocent antics, by her country accent that is thick as gumbo, by her lovely face that can contort into so many shapes and angles, and by those large moon-shaped eyes that widen in wonderment and bulge with faux shock.
Ketara Shavon “Keke” Wyatt is all that, and we haven’t even gotten to the reason why the throng were gathered at the Museum Bar just south of downtown Atlanta: for the release of her sultry single “Sexy Song.”
Some of her celeb pals were in the house to support her, including “Love and Hip Hop’s” Shay Johnson, Kandi Burruss’ manager Don Juan and music manager Debra Antney, among others.
Take a look at some of the highlights from the event:
