President Obama appears on the latest issue of Out magazine, becoming the first sitting U.S. leader to be photographed for the cover of an LGBT title, the publication said.

The photoshoot was conducted in recognition of the magazine’s decision to name Obama as its “Ally of the Year” for the gay community after he helped secure same-sex marriage in the United States.
Obama recognised the influence of all these people in his interview and stressed how important this year has been for the LGBT community. “There had been a remarkable attitude shift – in hearts and minds – across America,” he commented. “The ruling reflected that.
“It reflected our values as a nation founded on the principle that we are all created equal.”
