Chief Williams is a 28 year veteran of law enforcement. She began her career with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department in 1986 and has been with the Airport Police for 17 years, serving as Deputy Chief for the last nine years. Williams is a graduate of the of the FBI National Academy and the Eastern Michigan University School of Police Staff and Command. Chief Williams is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives and is a mother of two with five grandchildren.
