2 new proposals on Michigan’s Ballot

The fate of two proposals is up to Michiganders casting their votes this year. The ballot will include Proposal 1 that focuses on Michigan’s parks and Proposal 2 that would determine the amount of access the law enforcement would have to your electronic information.

Here is more information on both proposals:

Proposal 1

“A proposed constitutional amendment to allow money from oil and gas mining on state-owned lands to continue to be collected in state funds for land protection and creation and maintenance of parks, nature areas, and public recreation facilities; and to describe how money in those state funds can be spent.
